Condition issues include light soiling & wear to the front & back covers, occasional small dark streaks to the fore edge of the pages, and a light damp stain to the top corner of the pages that gradually fades out. The interior is clean and tight. A very good copy of a vintage magazine.

Published in Wem in 1907, this is the First Edition of this seemingly very scarce book on the Shropshire town of Wem, bound in cloth, 7.25 inches tall approx., 76 pages plus short four page town trade directory at rear, not illustrated. The book also covers some of the surrounding villages and places including Grinshill, Hawkstone Park, Tilley, Aston, Butler's Green, Lacon, Cotton, Newtown, Wolverley, Horton, etc. CONDITION Light marking to covers, internally title page browned, some noticeable foxing marks to a few pages, the last page of the rear directory is browned and worn at edges lacking two page corner tips but not affecting the text.
