Kl.-8°. XXVIII, 1008 S., Tafel 1-6 (von 8). Schlichter Halblederband der Zeit. Pritzel 3907. - Erstausgabe. - Ohne die Tafeln 7 und 8 sowie die Verbesserungen, Extra-Beilagen und "Analytischen Tabellen zur Bestimmung der phanerogamen Pflanzengattungen der Schweiz" (bis S. 1135). - Letztes Werk des grossen Botanikers Johannes Hegetschweiler (1789-1839). Das Werk erschien ab 1838 in Lieferungen. Es wurde nach dem Tode Hegetschweilers von Oswald Heer, dem berühmten Glarner Naturforscher und Geologen (1809-1833) fortgeführt und mit einem Anhang analytischer Tabellen zur Bestimmung der Pflanzengattungen versehen. Tafel 1-4 (und 7) sind von Hegetschweiler, die übrigen von Heer. - Aus der Bibliothek des Kaufmanns und Botanikers Hans Siegfried (1837-1903) mit seinem Namenseintrag und Bleistiftanstreichungen im Text. - Mit ganzseitigem handschriftlichen Eintrag des Arztes und Botanikers Johann Rudolf Suter (1766-1827), der 1802 sein zweibändiges botanisches Werk "Helvetiens Flora" publizierte. - (Einband berieben. Vorsätze leimschattig. Stockfleckig). Sprache: deutsch.
