Add to basketHardcover. Condition: VG+. Dust Jacket Condition: VG. 1st. Rivoli Bay, the centre from which the area covered in this book takes its title, lies on the eastern coast of South Australia and on the boprder with Victoria. While the author's study covers only the 10 years of the initial European settlement, from 1845, her opening chapter deals with the history of the Aboriginal people who lived in the area. A fine local history, story well told. First edition of 1974, 80 pages, 23 b/w illustrations, mainly photos with some art, e/paper maps. Blue hard covers with silver spine titles are VG+, internally excellent, no inscriptions. Pictorial DJ is VG with short tear spine top and lower flap fold, not price clipped.
