Full-Leather. Condition: Very Good. Most probably published in Italy, text in Latin. Frontis of wolf, Romulus and Remus feeding underneath in black and white sketch. Pocket size. Boards are almost certainly vellum, although very dirty looking from handling over the years. they would benefit from a skilful, professional clean up. Red title block on the spine at the top edge, with gilt lettering. Mild foxing, more especially to prelims.

Hardcover. Condition: Good -. Hardcover pocket-sized book in very good- condition. Small tear on front cover board. Covers appear to be made of vellum and show signs of discoloration from age and handling (presumed to be from the 1800s). Visible foxing on cover page and various pages throughout book. Binding has detached from spine, but is still intact and relatively tight.Top of pages are gilded and marbled inner cover boards. Inner pages appear to be in excellent condition despite minor foxing.
