Also a number of photos of the artist throughout her life. Introduction by Mark Stevens, and essays by Lisa Mintz Messenger, Barbara Novak and Barbara Rose, with a chronology, selected bibliography and index. Heavy card covers illustrated with O'Keeffe art works (Belladonna - Hana - Two Jimson Weeds, 1939), on the front cover and (Abstraction, 1945) on the back. An unused museum postcard laid-in. Previous owner's signature written neatly at the top edge of the front end page, o/w covers and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square. A small crease in the margin of the interior corner of the second foldout page (no damage to the art work), o/w no tears or chipping or other creasing. A very collectable copy for anyone interested in O'Keeffe's life and work.
