Condition: Good. - Quarto [approximately 14 inches high by 9 inches wide], softcover bound in pictorial tan wrappers with a reproduction of a telegram from Woodrow Wilson on the front wrap and an ad for Oldsmobile on the rear wrap. The binding is rubbed, bumped & lightly chipped with creasing to the bottom corner of the front wrap. 32 pages. Black-and-white illustrations by James Montgomery Flagg, Guy Pene du Bois, Harriet Mead Olcott and others. The blind stamp of Edgewood Free Public Library is on the front wrap & on 1 page of the magazine. Good. Among the contents of this issue are an article on free love by Mary Austin, "Some Remarks on The Income Tax" by Justin Huntley Moore, a "Personal Opinion of the President of China", Yun Shih-Kai, by a Chinese correspondent, and a piece on musical comedy by Harold Stearns.

Each one has an essay about a subject in society. Three of those authors are H. L. Mencken, J. Thorne Smith, and Ring W. Lardner. The spine strip has darkened, and its top and bottom edges are a little frayed. The text block ends have tanned. A book plate is on the front pastedown.Three page edges each have a chip, 1/4 in. to a linear 1 1/8 in., from rough-cut opening by a reader.
