Clean hardback tightly bound in blue cloth with gilt titles & white and gilt decoration, all edges gilt, bevelled boards, cloth is rubbed at corners, no inscriptions, tanning to endpapers, else internally unmarked. 288 pages, 6 colour plates, and many b/w illustrations in the text.… Translated from the Danish by W. Angeldorff. Undated but COPAC gives 1897. Please note this is not the later Nister edition which had illustrations by Frank C. Pape.
