Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 2nd Edition. "Katzchen und Katzen" is the German translation of Scottish author Bruce Marshall's charming book of essays, "Thoughts of My Cats". The translation was done by Hans Herlin, and published in 1959 by Jakob Hegner in Köln. The book is charmingly illustrated with line drawings by Richard Seewald. Bruce Marshall was the author of many books, among them, "And There Were Giants", "Father Malachy's Miracle", "Vespers in Vienna", and "The World, the Flesh, and Father Smith". His books often focus on Roman Catholicism , and frequently exhibit a generous appreciation and love for animals. BINDING : Solid. INTERIOR : I spotted what seems to be a pencil erasure on page 91 (this is fairly vague and barely perceptible); there is also a printing imperfection on page 22, and a small paper imperfection at the top fore-edge corner tip of page 31, else all seem nice and clean. DUST-JACKET : Slight edge wear, else clean and presentable. Richard Seewald (illustrator). …
