Samt. brunt halvlæderbind med rygforgyldning. * Den fynske godsejer Vedel Simonsen ejede selv Elvedgaard og står med sine pedantiske og stofrige værker som pioner inden for den topografiske litteratur om Fyn. Hagenskov var netop blevet sommerresidens for kronprins Frederik (VII) (som bogen er tilegnet) i forbindelse med dennes andet giftermål med prinsesse Mariane af Mecklenburg. Hverken ægte- eller ejerskab varede særlig længe.
