Hardcover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. John E. Millais and Frank Dadd (illustrator). 1st Edition Thus. Acceptable / -- Scarce. Twenty complete works of reference in one handy volume of 1070 pages. Colour frontispiece of"Bubbles" by John E. Millais and other b/w illustrations by Frank Dadd. Also includes colour "Pears Atlas of the world. Text is followed by 1page Pears advert "Matchless for the complexion". Black titles to spine and upper cover on red cloth covers. Back strip is complete but is completely split down the middle and is very worn. Both covers are taped to the main text block. Covers are soiled and rubbed. Page edges are tanned. Not ex-library. OK as a reading copy only.
