Condition: Good. 1901. Second Edition. 250 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Pages are lightly tanned with minimal foxing. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Mild thumb-marking present. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown and endpaper. Mild annotations and marginalia to pages throughout. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Moderate tanning to spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Book has forward lean. Boards are mildly warped.

Original green cloth, gilt titling to the spine, gilt titling and design to the front board, top edge gilt. The binding is a little rubbed and shaken, there is some foxing of the preliminary pages, and an ownership inscription to the front free endpaper; overall, this book is in good condition.
