Original green cloth, gilt titling to the spine, gilt titling and design to the front board, top edge gilt. The binding is a little rubbed and shaken, there is some foxing of the preliminary pages, and an ownership inscription to the front free endpaper; overall, this book is in good condition.

      Decorated Boards. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Very good to inside; pages are clean and tight throughout. Beautifully illustrated by Herbert Railton and A Quinton. Endpapers are olive green. Navy boards with very slight bumps to corners and small faint wrinkle to bottom front. Title, author and illustrator in gilt to front with gilt decoration and gilt borders; gilt also to spine. A photograph can be sent on request. Overall a very good copy.
