Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. London: Chatto and Windus, Publishers, 1908. lxvi, 312 p. hardbound, red and yellow decorative paper covered boards and faux vellum spine, with no Dust Jacket. The spine is toned and to a lesser extent the board's fore-edges. Gentle edgewear with some rubbing at the head of the fore-edge corners. Head of the text-block is soiled and has 2 small dampstains evident on the exterior only. A little minor foxing to the first and last few pages. Text is clean and the binding is tight. Frontispiece with tissue guard intact. VG/--.

The boards are rather shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked, with a previous owner's signature to the front. They remain otherwise strong and sturdy. Internally, there is a previous owner's signature to the title page and some pencil annotation throughout, but there are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are neat and legible.
