He lays heavy emphasis on economic and industrial events and presents a highly significant list of Clayoquot-Tofino-Ucluelet residents from the 1918 and 1955 British Columbia Directory. Among the best features of the history is its impressive album of photographs of Clayoquot people, landscapes, boats and settlements from about 1900 to 1990, offering an intimate look at the homesteads, classrooms, fishermen and schoolchildren that have comprised the Clayoquot communities.
