Nagel is highly respected publishing house founded in 1928 by Hungarian emigrà Louis Nagel (1908-1997) who moved the business to Geneva in 1952. They publish informative and encyclopaedic guides to many countries. This is a social record of the Soviet Union in the 1950s.
