First edition. Featuring thirty-seven color and eleven monochromatic plates, all from carefu drawings by Federigo Lose. The chromolithographic plates are stunning and sophisticated in their use of color to depict architectural details. The text quite detailed, making this volume more than a color plate book. The covers a bright but lightly rubbed. There is some off-printing from the plates, as usu Scarce.
