Jacket is now in a clear mylar protector.

DJ moderately soiled w/ light edge wear. Approx. 1 1/2" closed tear from top edge of front panel near spine. Spine and top edges darkened. Small chip to bottom of spine. Illust. w/ numerous drawings. Contents nice.

Hardcover with dustjacket, first printing as stated on copyright page, inscribed, signed and dated by the author, book is in excellent condition, a brief ink note - "p45" on the inside of the front cover is the only remarkable flaw, the jacket has four small, tan tape-marks on the flaps and no other flaws, the original price (4.95) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, "A famous artist-correspondent reports on the Korean war and the turbulent East.
