Large Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Issued Without Jacket. First Edition. Lengthy interviews with four of the 20th century's foremost political satirists and cartoonists, liberally illustrated with full-color, often full page examples of their work -- Jules Feiffer, David Levine, Edward Sorel and Ralph Steadman. All four easily recognizable by their work, featured in Esquire, Punch, Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, for example, as well as on dustjackets and posters. 148-page, large format (12 x 12 inches) softcover with a Sorel cartoon poking fun at self-important artists on the front cover and small thumbnail self-portraits with quotations from each artist on the back cover. Covers show only minor surface and edge wear, no tears, no creasing or chipping. Text is clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. A collectable copy.
