He had to keep his fingers on the pulse of some 2000 patients, mostly Eskimos, ranging over 600,000 square miles of frozen, wind-swept wilderness. Combines all the drama of a doctor's career with the adventures of a northland explorer to make fascinating reading for young and old. Rated fair due to cover wear and tanning but actually inside pages are unmarked and a good reading copy.
