A hitherto unpublished eyewitness account. Baron Waldstein, 1581-1623, of Moravia was a well educated, wealthy young man when he traveled throughout England in the summer of 1600 keeping detailed notes in Latin of everything he saw at every place he visited. The numerous annotations by the translator and the interesting illustrations give one a Baedeker like view of Elizabethan England.
