About the Author: The author was born in 1960, is a doctor, worked full time all her life, in Germany, Afghanistan, New Zealand and as of late in Russia. Single mother of five. Loves gardening, wants to learn how to play the piano, would like to understand rugby and Italian. Sometimes does oil paintings of which the artist son says they are "kitsch". Misses New Zealand when she is in Europe and vice versa. Published some books in German with a respectable publishing house. The German version of “A beautiful day to die" became a bestseller. Now she wants to write novels. The publisher does not encourage that. But giving up is not an option.
