Hardcover. Condition: Poor. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. 1st Edition. First printing. Ex-library, with a rental sheet affixed to the front free endpaper and rubber stamp on the front pastedown. Otherwise unmarked and in a sound binding. The dust jacket is glued to the boards. The price, $2.00, is present on the front flap. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Book.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st. Light green hardcover cloth binding square and tight, sunned spine, light soiling, very light crease across part of front cover. Two small yellow stains on spine and a couple of tiny stains on back cover. Ffep detached, page with description of story was detached and tipped back in. Rest of interior secure. Yellowing and staining to aging paper. 253 pages. Scarce story. Love fails Anita Wingate when Ned Blagden askes to be released from their engagement, so she turns to her career for solace.
