1938 reprint edition, hardback with a foreword by Elliott White Springs.The book is bound in blue cloth with the titles in black on the spine, it measures 7½" x 5½" and has 277 pages. It is illustrated with 1 b/w photograph + several b/w plates and text illustrations by Clayton Knight. Slight fading to the spine and front board, otherwise, a very nice, clean, sound tight copy. VG.

Reprint of the Popular edition (1927), in blue cloth with gilt, illustrated by Clayton Knight, with catalogue of Sundial editions (1933) at rear. Page fore-edge lightly foxed; text clean. Blue cloth faded on spine. Dust jacket worn & chipped at edges, with loss at head & foot of spine; dj protected in removable clear film. Quote from US publisher on dj back panel states that John Macdougal Grider is the author Used - Good. Good hardback in Poor dust jacket.
