Cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Hoopes, Florence & Margaret & Freeman, Margaret (illustrator). The green/gray cloth cover has the title in black with three children and a dog in black outlines with orange clothing etc. The corners are bumped and shelf worn; the black title on the spine is enclosed in orange, there are rips to the cloth, but it is all holding. The end papers are wonderfully printed with a circus in dark yellow and blue; there are some tears both front and rear and there is a school stamp on the front paper. The title page has a 1" chunk removed also a small piece missing on page three. The interior has many wonder colored pictures throughout the book, there are a few pencil marks here and there, along with some bent pages and there is a hole on page 267 which does not impact the words. See our other childhood readers.
