A tightly bound copy, dated signature of a previous owner on the browned front free endpaper, foxing throughout but the fifty-seven tissue guarded colour plates and b&w photographic plates are all clean and unmarked to the recto. The dust jacket is markedly age-toned, chipped and with some edge loss. Loosely inserted addenda and corrigenda, List of Subscribers, xiv [ii] + 259pp. A very heavy volume which may attract a request for additional postage if ordered from some locations outside the United Kingdom.
