an interesting collection, comprising: a folder issued for the launch of the 'Glenfinlas' in August 1966, with invitation cards and a smaller folder with artwork by Laurence Dunn containing three photographs of the ship on the stocks and a leaflet on the story of the glen of that name. Also, invitations, printed guest list and two photographs for the launch of the 'Glenfalloch' in July 1962; a four-fold brochure issued to mark the maiden voyage of the 'Glenalmond' in September 1966, with two colour postcards; a copy of E.P. Harnack's booklet "Glen Line to the Orient"; and two 1951 articles reprinted from the Journal of Commerce and Shipping Telegraph [please see our storefront page for shipping information].

Condition: Good. Colour lithograph on oil cloth with wood cylinder for weight when hung. 29 x 39 inches. Few small losses in the image and marginal tears; repaired. Map of Far East from India to Japan and south incl. Indonesia, New Guinea and Darwin, Australia. Image much better than the reproduction. There is no white area at the top.
