This work is comprised of two facsimiles bound into one, including 'The Pleasures of Princes or Good Mens Recreations' by Gervase Markham, and 'The Experienced Angler' By Colonel Robert Venables. These works were originally published in 1614 and 1662. With a preface by Horace Hutchinson. Illustrated with vignettes of fish species to 'The Experienced Angler'. In quarter vellum binding with paper-covered boards. Externally, very smart, with light marking to the boards and vellum, with the occasional spot. Spotting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with the odd spot to the first and last pages. Very Good Indeed. book.
