Blumenthal was employed by Simon and Schuster to direct one of their publishing divisions and edited a series of biographies for young people. Corinne Malvern [1901/1906-1956, her birth date is debated] was an American commercial artist, fashion advertising artist and illustrator of children's books from the early 1930s until she died in 1956.
