For two years he was an Assistant Photographer for Playboy Enterprises, Inc, and by 1976 he was an Assistant Professor at Northern I…llinois University. Since 1986 he has served as Chair of the Art and Design Department of Saint Xavier University. He is know for this quote, "All photographs lie, therefore all photographers are liars."
