    Hardcover. Condition: Good. E. Gerard. (illustrator). 1st Edition. 179 pages with 5 stone litho engravings including the "Jack Ketch", hangman's £1 facsimile note. With the rhyme of the crime and it's consequences for forging such a note. Marbled paper boards and cloth spine, label on cover of "Warrington, Museum and Library" and a circular rubber stamp stating the same on title page, no others. Still remains uncut and page edges not trimmed, contents clean and plates also. Spine has old repair and some loss top and bottom, head and tail worn down, marbled paper boards rubbed. Octavo. 1825. *There are many of these rhymes relate to the Yare and Norfolk and Bungay in particular. He was a portrait artist based in Norfolk and with a growing reputation when he fell ill and as such it left him unable to paint. He produced these poems to help feed his family and provide for his family. Scarce.
