Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 366p. A hardcover book bound in decorated red cloth with gilt foredges. FAIR condition. The edges of the boards and spine are heavily worn, especially along the back edge of the spine; back cover is weakly attached as a result. Small chips off the cloth in the middle of the back cover. All pages tanned with age; some are lightly foxed. Text is unmarked, and all pages remain tightly bound, despite the damaged cover. Biographies of famous French Catholics, with a lengthy chapter on Pope Leo XIII as well. Illustrated with numerous plates (mostly black and white engravings, some photographs). Text is in French.…
