This fascinating work details the events from the perspective of ordinary British soldiers. In the publisher's original cloth backed paper wraps. Significant loss to tail of front wrap, with further loss to front wrap head. Loss of paper to rear wrap head and tail. Back strip detaching to tail of rear wrap, with light fraying to back strip head. Dedication leaf tenderly held to the tail only. Significant handling marks to dedication leaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean and bright, with the odd light handling mark to page perimeters. Fair. Earl Robert (illustrator). book.
