A German by birth he immigrated to New York City, New York in 1866. His son Andrew and then grandson Philip H…eide continued the company. Philip Heide sold the Henry Heide Inc to Hershey Foods Corporation in 1995 and was then aquired by Farley's and Sathers Candy Co in 2002. This rare cookbook, from 1911 has some of some of the finest confection rececipes you'll ever find. Illustrations are in both b/w and color. 64 pages. Paper / Soft cover reprint edition in very good or better condition, slight wear to edges. Overall good copy of this scarce title. A good book to enjoy and keep on hand.
