    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. BROCK C E (illustrator). Vellum de luxe issue designed by Reginald Knowles. (xv) 255pp with 25 coloured illustrations. Vellum binding with rich gilt decorations and titles to front and spine. No inscriptions but some neatly written lightly pencilled notes to prelims describing the edition. Boards lightly worn and bumped with two small piercings at hinge gutters. Eps foxed. Otherwise textblock and illustrations in clean tight and bright. A lovely tactile copy.

Brock, this being their first appearance in colour "reproduced as they are by the aid of modern invention, in almost perfect facsimile". Pale green cloth with elaborate gilt decoration. Top edge gilt.Some foxing to prelims. Front free endpaper lightly tanned. Small spots to rear cover. Very good indeed in the scarce dustwrapper which is nicked and chipped with extensive closed tears.
