Green cloth; slight toning to spine; light scuffing at board corner tips and spine ends with slight fraying at spine heel. Gilt top edge; foxing to fore-edge and bottom edge. Mild foxing to endpapers with light occurrences to interior pages. Binding is firm. A very good copy. With 220 b/w photogravure plates on unpaged leaves, 18 sketches in the text; 11 musical items, 2 foldout panoramas at book's rear, and foldout color relief map present in rear pastedown pocket.
