Hardcover. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. Hardcover without Dust Jacket. 8 3/4 x 7 1/4 inches. Bound in dark blue boards with illustration in yellow to cover. Information to spine in yellow. FINE. All corners pointed. Binding firm and square. Without tears, creases, bumps or chips. Not marked and very clean and bright. All books carefully wrapped and sent boxed.

The exterior shows only minor handling wear but the upper right section of the front board has the gilt discolored black on a portion of the title display. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. The second end page contains previous owner's signature, which is the only handwriting found in the book. The text pages are clean but the end pages and pastedowns show quite a bit of foxing and toning. And the exterior page edges contains a few spots.

(The book is about one half inch thick.) 8vo (7 1/4" wide x 8 3/4"tall). Gilt imprint and illustration, dark blue (navy) cloth (handcover). Some mottle on the front cover. Gently toned. Probably deaccessioned.Rubberstamped near the center of the book though absolutely no other marks. Unmarked, clean & tightly bound. In good condition except for themottle. (JO-F).

Portfolio. Condition: Good. Portfolio holding 25 loose sheets reprinting single-panel cartoons of American Victorian life by 'the Hoosier Cartoonist', which first appeared in the Chicago Tribune. Undated but after 1935; cartoons are from the late 1920 and early 1930s. The folder that holds the sheets is rubbed with a few short tears but the sheets themselves are undamaged and clean. Size: 8¾" by 10½".
