Soft cover. Condition: Good. No Statement of Printing. Good with some soiling to stiff paper covers, no markings. This is a deceptively interesting book despite the fact that newspaper journalism is not what it once was. I say deceptively interesting because the book is ostensibly about getting free or low cost publicity for a magician or magic show by attracting the attention of a newspaper and its staff. However, along the way Mr. Furst tells many historical anecdotes including some relating to Dr. Ed Saint, Houdini, Ormond McGill, and James Conley. It is also autobiographical, having a number of anecdotes about Arnold Furst himself. So in a way it is also a book of interest to historians.
