Hardcover. Condition: G-vg. No Edition Stated. 168 pages. Grey binding with red lettering on spiine and front cover. Corner tips bumped. Fraying along top edge of back cover and top of spine. Covers lightly soiled. Ink name and date (1943) ffep. Great illustrations with the back section showing some of the bookplates and book bindings he designed. Photos on request.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Berlin: Phönix Illustrationsdruck und Verlag, 1931. (12 1/8 x 9 1/4 in., 30.8 x 23.5 cm). 80pp. First edition. Text in German and English. Trade magazine containing a generously illustrated 7 page article "The Photographer As Reporter: An Interview with Dr. Erich Salomon" by Dr. Hans Sahl. The text is all Sahl's (his impressions from their meeting and an analysis of Salomon's photographic practice). Original photo-illustrated wrappers (well worn, toned, stained and with chips at edges, etc; the spine inexpertly reinforced with black paper tape, front cover askew; internally clean and with light, handling creases throughout; short tears to some brittle pages edges, in all good enough and complete.). In addition, advertising photographs by Victor Keppler (Johnson and Johnson, American Optical), Sara Parsons (cigarettes and cigars), Kurt Meissner, Charles Sheeler (Gilette, Ford) among others. Salomon article may precede his book "Berühmte Zeitgenossen in Unbewachten Augenblicken", published that same year. Scarce. Inquiries welcomed.
