Royal blue satin cloth with gilt blind stamped lettering has wear to corners and spine caps and a couple small spots along hinges and modest soiling but bright and in good condition. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Illustrated end sheets and paste downs toned but clean at front. Rear ones have library markings including pocket. Library name stamped on top edge of text block. Tape repair recto half title page. Pages are lightly toned with light foxing to front matter after which is quite sparse. ; Ex-Library.

Very good, spine ends slightly bumped, corners slightly rubbed, spine slightly darkened, small spot at center of rear panel, front hinge cracked, sticker remain at top of front pastedown near edges, pages slightly agetoned.

A little toning to leaves, offsetting to pps. 94-95, obviously from a plant laid-in at a previous time. Offsetting to first blank. Newspaper clippings pasted to verso of second blank and recto of third, also causing offsetting. Negligible stains to edges of text block. VG.
