Edition limited to ONLY 7 SETS PRINTED ON EXTREMELY FINE LAID PAPER, with each etching justified (5/7), annotated ("1er état"), and signed in pencil by the artist. Large 4to. Loose as issued in a custom-made cloth folding case. FINE AND BRIGHT, WITH NO DEFECTS. Laid in is an inscribed carte de visite from renowned French author Maurice Genevoix (1890-1980). AN EXTRAORDINARILY RARE SET OF EXTRAORDINARILY BEAUTIFUL ETCHINGS. Most such sets were surely broken up long ago, or acquired by institutions.
