Cloth. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. 1st ed, VG, 27 pls, 50 illust. In green embossed cloth, decorative gilt tooling and titles, corners and edges very lightly bumped and worn. Spine, decorative gilt tooling and titles, edges bumped. Internally, yellow endpapers, text block edges reddened, tissue guarded frontis, [3], (iv-viii), [3], 12-332 pp, 27 pls (many with 3 views), 50 illustrations (many with 3 views), numerous other illustrations within text, not dated, but per OCLC 1839, it was also published by Ackermann & Co in the same year. (164*103 mm). Excursions to Isle of Wight, Southampton, Tunbridge-Wells, Hastings, Brighton. Dover, Margate and Richmond.
