Condition: Near Fine. 15 folders, explanatory booklet, cloth portfolio gilt, 4to. 28 page French folded booklet designed and edited by Bradbury Thompson. 15 individual folders by Leonard Baskin, Joseph Blumenthal, Bert Clarke, Brooke Crutchley, Joseph Low, Giovanni Mardersteig, Herbert Matter, Paul Rand, Jan Tschichold, Hermann Zapf and five others. Each folder is printed on a single sheet that has been folded twice to form four printed pages or a broadside, on a variety of Westvaco papers. Printers utilized by Westvaco are largely offset or unattributed, but there are letterpress contributions by Clarke & Way(2), The Gehenna Press, The Spiral Press(3), and The Stinehour Press. The folders are fine but for a very few miniscule rubs at corners; the Cockerell marbled paper lined portfolio is worn at the extremities. No copies were offered for sale.
