Her book, "The Christian's Secret of a Happy Life", was immensely popular and influential. In this book, "My Spiritual Autobiography: The Unselfishness of God", Smith continues what she called her "Spiritual Autobiography". This book is considered a complement to "The Christian's Secret of a Happy Life", and it "adds much to our understanding of the author's personal faith". Smith was 70 years old when she completed the book. It can be considered an important book, not just for Quakers, but for Christians of all persuasions. Truett. Also signed on the following page by Joshua Charles Armitage (Ionicus) in pencil on his illustration. The limitation page states that this is 100 copies bound in morocco, but this copy is bound similarily to the trade edition in green cloth, gilt lettering and design but with "Publisher's Presentation Copy" on front cover. This copy is unnumbered. Marble endpapers. Hazards was originally published in 1913 and is quite scarce today. This edition has been reset and contains additional text and illustrations.
