From the Library of Theological Antiquarian bookseller Pay Leahy. 309pp.CONDITION: Average shelf wear with a couple small stains. Corners lightly bumped. Previous owner name on endpapers. Pages have extensive light foxing, text remains easy to read. Binding and text block are sound. Full refund if not satisfied.

Maroon Cloth. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 366pp. Gilt to fore edges. Gilt embossed vignette to front board and gilt embossed title to spine. An attractive, scarce book in stunning condition. Neat ink inscription to front end paper - gift inscription dated 1852. One 5mm nick to cloth - head of spine - otherwise a remarkably well preserved copy in super condition.

Original dark green cloth, gilt decorations and titles to front and spine, some wear to the cloth, with a split to the rear left towards the head of spine, previous owners inscriptions to front pastedown and endpapers, corners rubbed, edges a little dirty, text clean. Overall, a very good copy.
