Catalogue of an exhibition held at Collections Baur from May 3rd to September 15th, 2002, featuring a selection of works by Chinese artist Fan Tchunpi (1898-1986), who was born in China but spent her last years in Geneva. Tchunpi was known for her brush-and-ink paintings in the traditional guóhuà style. Trained in Western painting techniques while living in France, her work is known for its combination of European and Chinese formal elements. This volume also presents a collection of Chinese calligraphy and paintings assembled by Tchunpi and her husband Tsen Tsonming. Well illustrated in color.
