Robinson, Gordon Robinson etc., Colour frontis (girls skating.) A collection of juvenile stories for girls put together by Warne from their stable of authors. The title story is by Phillippa Francklyn, the other notable story is a rationalised ghost story 'The Haunted Cottage' and a girl's school ice skating mystery 'The Hole in the Ice' by Edna Lake. There is also an unusual contribution by Warne botanical writer Edward Step entitled 'Mrs. Bufo the Toad.' Red paper covered boards with colour illus onset to cover. Warne file copy with their neat 'Property Room' stamp. Very slightly rubbed and very slightly dusty otherwise VG+.
