Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Gutters and hinges somewhat cracked with some exposed netting. Binding is firm. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. Occa…sional minor marginalia and underlining. A few dog-eared corners. Text block edges are a little tanned and foxed and water stained, with minor scratches. Boards have some edge wear, with slight bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are moderately crushed and rubbed. Slightly scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Some water staining. Boards are notably bowed. Book has a moderate forward lean. Spine is noticeably sunned. Gilt is dulled and worn.
