Half Leather. Condition: Good Minus. 518pp with several pages at the rear of the book consisting of two indexes. A very scarce book. Original binding - half leather with marbled boards. Gilt embossed lettering and tramlines to the spine of the book. Significant rubbing to the board at the lower part of the spine with thinning of the leather over the spine for an area of 1.5 cm across. Light rubbing to the edges of the spine and to the edges of the boards. Splitting of the front board for a length of 6 cm from the head of the spine and for a length of 2 cm from the tail of the spine. The front board is left somewhat tender. Faded marbled fore edges. A couple of ink names and dates to the front paste down, slightly transferred to the front end paper. The rear end paper has a longitudinal crease from a neat fold. Loss of the edge of the front end paper for a depth no more than1 cm. There is light foxing throughout the pages of the book not interfering with the reading of the text in any way. Several corners of the pages have been folded leaving neat creases. A good copy of this book.
