Einband etwas begriffen und (wasser-)fleckig, mit kleinem Schildchen und Bleistiftkürzel auf den Deckeln, etwas angerändert und leicht knickspurig, hinterer Deckel an oberer Kante deutlich lädiert und nach außen gerollt / geknickt mit kleinerer Fehlstelle in der Ecke, Buch im Ganzen leicht wellig…(kein Wasserschaden), Seiten durchgängig leicht angerändert und eselsohrig, auf den letzen ca. vier Seiten deutlichere Läsuren am oberen Rand ohne Textverlust und etwas braunfleckig, sonst innen gut. Aus dem Nachlass von R. A. Stemmle. Robert Adolf Ferdinand Stemmle, geb. 1903, gest. 1974, auch kurz: R. A. Stemmle oder Robert A. Stemmle, war ein deutscher Autor, Filmregisseur und Produzent. Nach Erfahrungen und Erfolgen mit Kabarett und Theater - so z.B. sein Stück "Kampf um Kitsch" mit Therese Giehse an der Volksbühne Berlin - etablierte er sich als Regisseur und Drehbuchautor zunächst bei der Tobis-Film und dann bei der Ufa. Auch bei der ersten Verfilmung der "Feuerzangenbowle" unter dem Titel "So ein Flegel!" mit Heinz Rühmann von 1934 führte R.A. Stemmle Regie. Ab 1963 gab er gemeinsam mit Herrmann Mostar 15 Bände von "Der neue Pitaval" heraus, einer Sammlung von historischen Strafrechtsfällen. Dementsprechend stammen die Bücher, die wir hier aus seinem Nachlass anbieten, hauptsächlich aus dem 18. / 19. Jahrhundert und behandeln Verbrechen und Strafverfolgung.
