Schule zu Freiburg im Breisgau tätig. Er zeichnete und radierte Ansichten aus der Schweiz und Deutschland. Er arbeitete auch in Verbindung mit anderen Künstlern, z.B. Wilh. Joh. Esaias Nilson (geb. 1788), die seine Zeichnungen und Radierungen als Vorlagen zu Blättern in anderer Technik benutzten. …
